This was easily the most fun I’ve ever had recording a live set. The atmosphere was great, despite KU losing in the championship game, and you could tell that Aficionado was having a great time. Really great people in that band. Check out their newest album and buy it.
I’ve got the full set cut into songs (with a ridiculous drum solo on the last one). Check em’ out!
The Aficionado videos will be up in the next 30 minutes or so. I’ll be spreading them out through tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled. They’re really great, I’m super happy with how they turned out. Also, TWO NEW SONGS that you probably haven’t heard unless you caught them live on this tour, too.

I was really surprised at how great these guys were. Hadn’t listened to much before the show, but seeing them live sold it. I’m a fan.
Due to unfortunate circumstances (La Dispute apparently does not want any video recordings of their current run for reasons unknown), there will be no LD videos to post in the upcoming days. I assume they want kids to come out to shows instead of watching the videos.
That said, I’m currently exporting two songs from All Get Out and I’ll be posting three songs from the Balance and Composure set (as long as the audio is alright, too).
For now, I’m going to let these export and hit the sack.

Back from SXSW.
Feels so good to be home. Didn’t get to shoot nearly as much or see nearly as much music as I had hoped (Texas allergies got the worst of me, had me lying in bed for half of Friday and Saturday, it was still a great time.
Glad to have hangs with the guys in The Atlantic. Genuinely funny and cool dudes.
Now to get working on their music video. Can’t give a precise deadline for this piece, work has got me swamped, but I can tell you that it will easily be the best thing I’ve done to date.
